Company history

2000Founded in 2000, the parent company of rSchoolToday, Distributed Website Corporation (originally Vanguard Technology Group) was created as a way to use digital tools to help community organizations come together around positive activities. Over time, that mission, and its experience outside of education lead to the company's creation of award-winning management tools for high school administrators.

2021rSchoolToday acquired VNN, makers of their flagship SportsHub Athletics Website and owners of RallyAroundUs, WPA Network, and WisSports.net to extend the rSchoolToday product offering beyond management to communications, branding, and fan experience.

2023rSchoolToday joined PlayOn! Sports in its portfolio of school sports software companies which include GoFan and the NFHS Network. Currently trusted by nearly 75% of US High Schools, the company's software helps athletics staff manage their day, engage with their fans, and promote their athletes online.
